On the morning of April 10, the "Chu Jiwang Literature Award," jointly established by Chu Jiwang and Literary Harbour magazine, kicked off in Ningbo alongside the 2026 Yangtze River Delta • Greater Bay Area Literature Week and the 13th Ningbo Literature Week.

Under the theme "Literature: Born Toward the Sea," this year's Literature Week, for the first time, promotes a deep literary linkage between the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The "Chu Jiwang Literature Award" was jointly established in 2013 by Chu Jiwang, Honorary Chairman of XILIN and Literary Harbour magazine. It is a permanent annual journal award open to writers nationwide. The award considers all individual works (or groups of works) published in Literary Harbour during the year. Starting in 2023, the award fund was expanded and upgraded to 20 million yuan, with the addition of a Jury Special Prize (prize: 200,000 yuan) and an increase in the Outstanding Work Prize to 30,000 yuan. By offering substantial rewards to encourage the creation of high-quality works, it has become a highly influential literary brand in Ningbo and across the country.
