How to Solve the Failure of the Lift Table

Oct 20,2022
Failure to maintain a lift table can shorten its lifespan, decrease its reliability, and create safety risks. Proper maintenance reduces future repair costs and improves the return on investment. Below are some tips for proper maintenance of your lift table. A good lubrication schedule can extend the life of your equipment by at least four to six months.

Make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper maintenance. You should also use common sense when operating a lift table. Be sure not to overload it, as this may cause damage to the machine  or injure the operator. Also, never stand on the table or put your hands under it while lowering it.

Make sure that the load is evenly distributed across the table. Make sure not to use the lift table to move loose or unstable loads. Make sure that the table is positioned on a solid surface, and do not place it on any other surfaces, as this can cause the platform to fall.

If the lift table is hydraulic, the motor controls the downward movement of the table. If the power goes out, the motor automatically stops raising the table.
